Commonwealth Games Birmingham 2022

I was successful in my application to be an MSK - Musculoskeletal, SMP (Sports Massage Therapist) at these games July/August 2022. I was based at the NECC in the Polyclinic. We had athletes and para-athletes from around the Commonwealth competing in weightlifting/para-lifting, boxing, netball, table tennis and badminton. I served 10 voluntary days. Amazing working with these incredible athletes, and colleagues. Some great CPD (continuing Professional Development) experience. Lots of fun too. # The friendly games!
